1.Electricity
price: electricity price of Urumqi power grid (Urumqi City, Changji Hui
Autonomous Prefecture, Turpan Prefecture and Kuytun City) is under the
control of the State Development Planning Commission, electricity price
in other prefectures and cities is under the management of the
auaonomous regional commisssion for development planning. |

2.
Natural gas price: import price and pipeline transmission fee is decided
by the state. The sales price of natural gas to be sold in Xinjiang is
under the control of prefectures and cities of Xinjiang. |

3. Lpg price: the ex-factory
price of lpg is under the control of the State Development and Reform
Commission. The ratio of lpg price to standard gasoline is 0.83-0.92∶1,
while the price of standard gasoline is irregularly publicized by the
State Development and Reform Commission on the basis of price change of
oil products in international market. The sales price of lpg is decided
by prefectures and cities of Xinjiang.

4.
Coal price: From August 1, 2001, coal price is completely regulated by
market. But in the third quarter of that year, the price of coal in
Xinjiang rose sharply, seriously affecting the normal order of
industrial production and the life of people. Therefore, in accordance
with Price Law of PRC, the autonomous regional government has been
practicing temporary restriction measure for coal price from November
12, 2001 on. |
