           As a highway port, Hongshanzui Port is situated in Fuhai County of Altay Prefecture and neighbors on Bayanwuliega Province of Mongol. The port was opened in July 1992. As a bilateral seasonal port, the port is open in 1—20 of July, August and September every year. The port is 10 km away from Dayang Port of Mongol and 160 km from the seat of Sagsai County; 190 km away from the city of Altay and 900 km away from Urumqi.
