2.The Main Content and Scale of the Project:
To construct the fine beef cattle and milk cow base within next five years, to introduce new breeds and use cold and warm mating to transplant embryos and fatten the cattle, the base construction will be accomplished so that it can produce 200 thousand of milk cow and 200 thousand fine beef cattle annually for marketing.
3.The Market Situation:
According to the analysis information from the systematic prediction on China 1999-2005 by OECD, the Chinese beef consumption per capita is to be increased by 30%. Because the proportion of beef cattle is low in the market, large amount of expensive first-class beef is imported by grand hotel and restaurant. When the domestic beef is in large demand, the amount of cattle in Europe and peripheral countries is decreased largely. Thus, it is large demand of importing the beef in a long period of time. And this provides immense market potential. With a perfect natural pasture, Ili prefecture can produce beef of high quality and milk without any pollution to dominate the market, which will be sure to gain a large economic and social benefit.
4.Estimated Investment and Plan for Raising Fund: the total investment of the project is 100 million Yuan. 50 million Yuan (RMB) needed for introduction. The investments of spot exchange, technology and equipment are all feasible.

The economic life of the project is 18 years (2002-2019). Construction period is 5 years. Production period is 13 years. Rate of investment profit is 21.2%. Return period of the investment is 6 years.
