Project Construction (Production) Scale and Content：
To construct polyformaldehyde project by utilizing rich natural gas resources in Tarim Basin. Site: Layisu Industrial Park, Luntai County. Contents: device to produce methanol of 100000 tons a year with natural gas as raw material and process of low-pressure synthesis technology； device to produce formaldehyde of 120000 tons a year with foreign-party iron-molybdenum process, and device to produce polyformaldehyde of 40000 tons of year with Poland ZAT Company. Final product polyformaldehyde is domestically-marketable special engineering plastics with wide use.

Brief Introduction to the Owner of the Project：
Ba-Prefecture Dongchen Industry and Trade Co., Ltd is under Shandaong Dongchen Industry Group Co., Ltd and has independent legal person qualification with main business of producing industrial methanol and solvent oil. Shandong Dongchen Group is one of key hi-tech enterprise under the Ministry of Science and Technology with chemical and electromechanical industry as leading sector, has in succession undertaken seven state-level development projects and 15 provincial and municipal scientific and technological tackling plan projects，has four products listed in national key new products plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology and six products in Shandong Province “spark plan” and “new product ” projects. The company is equipped with self-operated import and export right，has passed certifications of ISO9001 quality system and ISO14001 environment management system and national compulsory product 3C certification, and is developing OHSAS18001 occupation health and safety administration system. The company has won more than 100 honorary titles, including “national contract-following and promise-keeping enterprise”, “nation-wide credit unit”,“ Shandong Province labor security credit class A enterprise” and “bank ‘AAA’ credit enterprise”, etc.
In order to response to national strategy of western development，Dongchen Group made investment of 250 million to prepare 9000-ton-a-year methanol project and 50000-ton-a-year solvent oil project in Layisu Industrial Park, Luntai County in 2004, of which，the methanol project is the largest production device of its kind under construction in Xinjiang，which adopts advanced low-pressure synthesis process and DCS center system to control operation and has high automatic level，low operation cost and encouraging market prospects. Completion of the project will fill the gap of South Xinjiang in methanol production.
