1.The Main Content of the Project:
The Korla fragrant pear is one of the excellent local specialties in Xinjiang. With a rich fragrance, ample juice and sweet taste, the pear is favored by the consumer both at home and abroad. At present, the Korla Fragrant pear will be found in the markets of 24 countries and Regions such as South-East Asia, Europe and America etc. However, due to the strong regional adaptation of the pear plantation, the best variety of fragrant pear, which produced in Koela City, Yuli County and Luntai Couuty of Bayangol Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, is not produced on a large scale. Thus, it needed for development urgently.
2.The Main Content of the Project:
The general scope for the construction of Korla fragrant pear base is one million mu, among which it is 800 thousand mu of newly reclamation land. Distributed as following: 600 thousand mu developed in Korla, 100 thousand mu in Luntaii county, and 100 thousand mu in Yuli county, and 200 thousand mu of rebuilding engineering of orchard with a low and medium yield. At last it reached the production scale of over 1.2 million ton of Korla fragrant pear in Bayangol Mongol Autonomous Prefecture annually.
3. Estimated General Investment and Analysis of Profit: the general investment of the project is 630 million Yuan. Among them: 600 million Yuan is needed for newly-built orchards, 30 million Yuan for the rebuilding of low and medium yield orchards. 2.2545 billion Yuan of annual profit will be realized after the production is stabIlized in the fragrant pear base.
4. Progress of the Project:
The feasible report is completed and submitted to the Planning Board of Autonomous Region.
